Permanent Makeup,
is also known as Micro-Pigmentation , it is a procedure applying pigment into
the dermal layer of the skin. This state of the art procedure has been
performed for a variety of makeup enhancements for hundreds of years.
Cosmetic tattooing can offer subtle encouragement and enhances lip line
& lip color, upper and lower eyeliners and eyebrows. In the more
recent years, permanent color techniques are being widely performed for
camouflage therapy such as creating the illusion of the areolas and
nipple restoration (following breast reconstruction), vitiligo, hypo-pigmentation, hairline scars, full
lip stick, cleft lip restoration and beauty marks. Other than aesthetic
enhancement and definition, cosmetic tattooing has many other benefits.
The visually impaired, handicapped and alopecia patients benefit
tremendously by implanting pigment underneath the skin.
Giving her the reputation among the
cosmetic beauty industry & medical community as one of the best in
her field. Maria Perez is please to be working in collaboration with one of
Halifax’s leading plastic surgeon’s Dr. Leif Sigurdson, MD and FRCSC
of the QEII Health Science Center.
